Tienda.co.uk

A simpler way to start a Webshop: no startup cost and an easy monthly plan

What does it involve?

We look after the design, build, hosting and management of everything to do with the shop's web presence.

1. Design

If the client already has a web presence, we'll create a template for the shop based on, and well integrated with that style. If a new identity needs to be created for the company or brand, we can develop that, or we can work with designers contracted by the client.

2. Build

Once the look of the shop has been decided, we work in the deployment of the application on our servers. If a product list already exists we can import that to the shop along with product images. The client can easily manage their catalogue via the administration system.

3. Hosting

We install the shop on our secure servers, with a fast connection to the internet, allowing customers from all over the world to access it comfortably.

4. Management

The task of building an ecommerce site all too often ends with the launch. What we offer is a service for the whole life of the shop. We offer our applications as a service, which allows better planning and a reduction of the risk of starting new projects.

How much does it cost?

We offer our services with two plans: fixed subscription and percentage-based. In both cases the price depends on the individual situation of the client. It's always possible to change from a percentage-based plan to a fixed plan.

1. Fixed subscription

If the client has a good idea about the level of sales they expect, it could be more interesting to have a fixed monthly cost to get their shop online.

2. Percentage-based

In situations where the possible sales are less clear, the client may choose to pay based on a percentage of sales. With this plan the risk of paying a fixed monthly cost when the sales have still not developed is removed.

How do I get paid?

1. PayPal

By far the simplest way to get started taking money online is PayPal. Once you have an account set up, you can start making sales. Customers don't even need an account to pay you - PayPal can act as gateway for most credit cards.

2. Your bank's credit card system

If you have a business bank account - possibly you're already making card sales in a physical shop - we can interface to their online system for authorising card payments.

Can I see an example?

Let's say we have a shop paying based on a percentage. This shop starts with low sales, because it's a new project. The sales rise thanks to the promotion work carried out so that after twelve months they reach over €8,000 a month.

If the shop is paying 10% - agreed between the client and Tienda.co.uk at the start of the project - we might see these numbers:
